Durbin Day & Thanksgiving & Barnes and Noble...a busy day

Walking the newly created labyrinth in the future JCOS garden.  This was a result of JCOS's annual Durbin Day where the school helps out around the school and the community.

Get Involved with the JCOS Garden

A committee has been created for an Open School garden, which will be located on the east side of the school. Additional information on the garden will be included in future newsletters but at this point in time the committee is in need of donations, such as: mulch, manure, and gardening supplies.
o The committee is also interested in knowing if there is a community member (e.g., parent, teacher, and friends) that is a gardener/groundskeeper as an occupation or a hobby that would be willing to volunteer their time and/or tools.

Points of contact for the Garden Committee are:
-Martin Walsh at 720-746-0601
• Start time for future meetings will be 4:30 p.m. instead of 5 p.m.

Whole Foods Bag Credits

Beginning in October through December 2011, JCOS will be receiving bag credits from Whole Foods BELMAR to go towards our new Community Garden.  So remember to shop Whole Foods Belmar and bring your bags!
